The ever-shrinking space between SUV and sports car continues to close with the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR.
The 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR even hit the Nürburgring, the famous track where sports cars attempt to shatter speed records, and turned in an 8:14 time.
The SUV gets its speed from a supercharged 5.0 liter V-8 that churns out 550 horsepower. Acceleration is impressive as well for a vehicle of its size—0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. The speed tops out at 162 mph, which makes it the fastest Range Rover ever made.
The 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR will go on sale in the fall with a price tag of $111,400.
