A Belgium-based company named Twodesigners is combining a cork material, metal, and lights to create unique lighting fixtures and furniture.

“Every combination has its own identity as well on a visual level as on a functional level,” A represented from Twodesigners said. “Every piece is composed of a metal hooping in which two elements enter and combine. The use of cork as a material guarantees an assembly without using any paste or screw. The metal hooping compresses the two elements and creates a mechanical solidity.”

The design is rounded out with a metal material to add both a modern touch and sturdiness to the design.
