Public travel to space, for a profit of course, is becoming one of the most appealing markets in the luxury world. For the most part, it is planes-like vehicles whisking paying passengers into space. One company is offer something a bit different: A balloon ride to near-space.

Zero2Infinity has created the Bloon, a balloon that takes passengers 22 miles above the Earth, giving them a view of both Rome and Paris at the same time.

The creators of Bloon say it’s very safe. It uses helium gas and other safe substances to get off the ground. No combustible fuels are utilized, and eight airbags and parafoil help with take-off and landing.

The balloon will hold four guests and two pilots. Dinner and drinks are served during the day-long flight.

You can book a spot on the pod for 2014 or 2015 for $651,770.
