Art, design, and practicality have all three been combined in the world of luxury furniture recently. Atelier Amarist and Alejandro Monge have seamlessly combined all three of those trait with the “Too Much?” table.

This unique table remains practical in use but elaborate in art and design. The table sits atop two surfaces. In the middle is a unique glass cube that is filled with detailed hand-illustrated money that gives the appearance of having been burned.

“The most complicated part of the process was to simulate the effect of burnt paper eaten by flames never using fire to achieve it,” Amarist said of designing the piece.

The table is expertly handcrafted and is supposed to invoke thoughts on the importance of money.
