Venge Aero and McLaren have collaborated to create a performance bike called the S-Works McLaren Tarmac.

McLaren and Venge Aero previously collaborated on a project back in 2011, resulting in the fastest performance bike in the world. The S-Works McLaren Tarmac builds off the companies’ previous collaboration and betters it.

“The new S-Works Tarmac was already a very, very efficient structure to start with, and in some ways this was a much tougher challenge than the Venge we worked on.” Joe Marsh, McLaren composite design engineer, said.

The bike is lighter and faster than their previous design. It utilizes a carbon fiber material to keep the weight down.

In addition to the bike, buyers will also receive S-Works road shoes and an S-Works Prevail helmet that matches the bike’s colors.

The S-Works McLaren Tarmac is a limited edition with just 250 pieces produced. You can pick one up for $27,227.
