The shell stool is a unique piece of furniture that is designed to look like a giant version of a spent ammunition cartridge.

The circular design allows the stools to be set up together to create a bench or a chair-and-table arrangement. The stool is crafted from blown polycarbonate with a vacuum metalized interior that makes it durable enough for use indoors or outdoors. The stool stands 18 ½ inches high and is about a foot in diameter.

The stool was created by British designer Jake Phipps who has been crafting unique furniture since 2005.

The shell stool is available in both a bronze and silver finish. It is priced at a little over $300.
