The construction of an 11-story apartment building on 520 West 28th Street in New York City is officially underway. The building will feature three penthouses, including a 6,391-square-feet unit named Penthouse 37, to be sold for $35M.
The penthouse will be a duplex with 5 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. It will carry $330,000 in annual charges.
“I am absolutely thrilled to finally mark the city with my signature,” said Zaha Hadid, commenting on her first NYC project. “I think I have designed something that fits well into the city that is very New York and will help transform the city moving forward.”
