Rolls-Royce has been teasing the car world with only tidbits of information regarding the special-edition version of its most expensive car, the Phantom Drophead called the Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection. Earlier this month Rolls-Royce gave an official preview of the car to the UK press and we got some pertinent information about the highly anticipated vehicle.

The car is designed to honor Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Rolls-Royce Bluebird K3 boat that broke the world waterspeed record in 1937. It is decked out in a Maggiore Blue paintjob, reminiscent of marine colors. To give it its water-like shine, the vehicle uses nine layers of paint that are hand-sanded and then coated with a powdered lacquer. The paintjob does not stop at the body. It extends to the wheels and engine block, as well.

The interior features a two-tone steering wheel made from black leather with Magiorre Blue accents. The rest of the interior features metal highlights, grey leather, and hand-engraved wood accents, armrests, and door sills.

The Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection will be limited to just 35 units. Each will carry a price tag of $760,000.
