The early days of Grand Prix car racing carry a certain nostalgia, particularly the Type A-D race cars produced between 1933-1939. Mantra has released a chair that is so inspired by a classic race car that it carries its namesake, the Mantra Type C.
The chair was designed by Ciro Bergonzi and its wavy contours are meant to simulate the motion of the famous Type C race car. The center support piece is made of polished steel. The seat itself is crafted from cushioned leather for ideal comfort.
