The Copper Beech Farm estate is a home constructed in the style of an 1890s French Renaissance estate and is one of the most expensive homes ever sold.
The water-front property features contemporary elegance on the inside and 50 acres of quaint water and flower gardens on the outside with an additional 7,000 square feet of attic and basement space.
The property was originally built by the Lauder-Greenway family in 1898. They were co-founders of U.S. Steel with Andrew Carnegie. The home was previously purchased for $7.55 million by a timber magnate with holdings in Washington state named John Rudey.
It was originally put on the market for $190 million. It sold for $120 million.
