L’Epée, Swiss clock manufacturer, and horological design team MB&F have teamed up to create a clock concept based on the Starfleet from the television show Star Trek.
The Starfleet Machine is a table clock that will make Trekkies rejoice. The hours and minutes are shown on the black dome in the center. Under the center piece is a rotating dome and revolving radar dish that acts as the power reserve indicator. The clock also features double retrograde seconds. The movement remains visible and is incorporated into the machine’s futuristic design. It holds an exceptional 40-day power reserve. The Starfleet Machine is crafted from finished palladium-treated brass and has 48 jewels sprinkled throughout the design. It is available in both a light and dark version.
This Star Trek table clock is limited to just 175 units. It costs approximately $32,720.
