The all-new 2015 BMW M4 Convertible will have its official debut later this month (April 18-27) at the 2014 New York Auto Show, but BMW has already released a ton of information and pictures of this highly anticipated vehicle.
Similar to the 2015 BMW M4 Coupe, the 2015 BMW M4 Convertible is powered by the same 3.0 liter straight-six engine that pumps out 431bhp as the coupe version. It is going to be quicker than its predecessor, the M3 model, thanks to a 132-pound weight reduction. It will hit 60mph in just 4.4 seconds with the automatic and 4.2 seconds with the 6-speed model. Top speed is limited to 155 mph.
“The BMW M4 convertible replicates the performances of the BMW M4 coupe and the BMW M3 Sedan, but emphasizes its stylish and distinctive appearance through its retractable hardtop that places open-top driving at center stage,” BMW said in a press release.
The 2015 BMW M4 Convertible will cost $8,300 more than the coupe version with a price tag starting at $73,425. It will hit dealerships in the summer.
