Jodie Foster, the Academy Award-winning actress who has starred in such films as Silence of the Lambs, placed her Hollywood Hills home on the market a few months ago but has recently lowered the asking price.

The home is done in the style of a Spanish villa.

The 5,400 square feet of living space features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, sauna, private theater room and a slew of walk-in closets.

The home was originally built in 1935 and features such rustic charms as exposed beams, wood floors, and cathedral-style ceilings.

Foster bought the home back in 1997.  The original asking price was $6 million, but after a few months of inactivity, the price has dropped to $5.75 million.
