Many luxury car manufacturers are expanding their products into furniture and designer handbags, but Ferrari is likely the first to venture into the theme park business.
Ferrari has partnered with PortAventura Entertainment S.A.U. to begin developing Ferrari Land, a Ferrari-inspired theme park. The park will open its doors in Spain and is expected to span 75,000 square meters (approximately 800,000 sqft). The park will also features a 250-room luxury hotel.
This is not Ferrari’s first theme park. They have opened the world’s largest indoor theme park in Abu Dhabi in 2009.
Ferrari is currently shooting for a 2016 opening.
