Florian Dussopt, a London-based designer, often turns to science and physics for inspiration for his creations, which range from clocks to earrings. His EM Table gives off an electromagnetic field that lights up fluorescent tubes near it.

The EM Table lights up these bulbs thanks to an electronic circuit concealed inside the table. The current gives off an electromagnetic field that acts on the gas inside the florescent tubes causing them to light up.
