Since cutting ties with Nokia, Vertu has began to carve its own path when it comes to designing smartphones. Vertu is following the release of its first android-based smartphone , Ti, with the release of Constellation, a phone that some will argue sacrifices technology in favor of design.
As far as specs are concerned Constellation does not really stand out. It has a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 32GB of built-in storage, no LTE connectivity, a 720p resolution, and it does not have 4G connectivity. However, the phone is covered in calf-skin leather, comes in five different colors (black, dark brown, light brown, orange, and cherry), and has a scratch-proof sapphire crystal screen. Also, each phone purchased will be handcrafted to order.
Vertu Constellation costs about $6,600. The phone is available for purchase by appointment at Vertu Boutique locations.
