At the Watches & Wonders Exhibition in Hong Kong last month, Vacheron Constantin premiered its Ultra-thin Calibre 1731 timepiece. The movement of the clock can be seen through a sapphire crystal back.  The hour-markers a made from 18k pink gold, while pearl makes up the minuet tracks.  It is encased in 18k pink gold.   It has a large power reserve of around 65 hours.

the Patrimony Contemporaine Ultra-thin Calibre 1731 will go into production by the dozen starting next year.  The watch will cost around $365,000
