German car manufacturer Audi has already brought its expertise to cameras, and now they are attempting to do the same thing with watches. Audi Design has launched a clock for Munich watchmaker Erwin Sattler. The clock is designed to sit on a table and features a transparent body that allows a view into the clock’s inner workings. The clock is minimalist in style. The mechanism features 18,000 beats per hour, and features a power reserve of 8 days.
The Audi-designed clock is limited to only 100 pieces. There is no indication as to what the price of the clock will be but Erwin Sattler table clocks tend to cost around $10,000.
