Hennessey Performance Engineering made waves in recent memory – albeit briefly – when it toppled the Bugatti Veyron as the world’s fastest production car. Hennessey is now offering up the McLaren MP4-12C HPE700.
The HPE700 has been tuned to produce 704 HP and 538 pound-feet of torque. The original MP4-12C is capable of producing 618 HP. Hennessey achieved an additional 86 HP through an engine management software upgrade, intercooler upgrade, new stainless steel exhaust system, and dual air induction filters. The HPE700 does 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and is capable of finishing a quarter mile in just 10.3 seconds. The interior and exteriors aesthetics have been kept stock with the exception of the addition of a few Hennessey logos.
An official price has yet to be set, but rumor has it the kit will cost $19,500.
