JetSurf is a new gas-powered mini-surfboard with a built-in 100cc engine with a 35 mph capacity. The JetSurf Board eliminates the need for waves in order to surf.
The surfboard is light, as it is made of carbon-kevlar and comes in three variants: the “Ultra Sport” with an 86 cc displacement and 30mph, the fully equipped 100cc “Factory” model that tops out at 34mph, and the 100cc “Pro Race” that tops out at 35 mph. Each comes equipped with a 2.5L fuel tank for over an hour of run time.
Prices start at $16,000 for the “Ultra Sport” model and go up from there.

Cool idea. Self contained surf board. But starting at $16k – who are they kidding? A 100 cc motor can’t be more than a grand and the rest of the equipment should be about another grand. If they were selling these a $3k they might get some buyers. But I don’t see anyone at $16k. Have you seen what kind of boat or motorcycle you can buy for $16k?
