Hammacher Schlemmer is selling a coffee table that has a fully functional Windows 8 computer with a 32-inch touch screen as its surface.
The table’s touch screen is an anti-glare LCD screen that is essentially an enlarged tablet. With a 1366 x 768 resolution, the screen is capable of offering sharp images in any type of lighting and can also be viewed comfortable form multiple angles. A tempered-glass surface keeps the LCD screen safe, even in the case of liquid spills. The computer packs an Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz processor, 6 GB of memory, 500 GB hard drive, and is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled. This high-tech coffee table measures 48″ L x 30″ W x 18″ D in total. It costs $7,000.
