The Mingus aluminum lampshades were designed by Copenhagen-based designer Cecilie Manz for Danish brand Lightyears.  The lampshades display softly angled edges that propose a minimalist design.

The Mingus is named after jazz legend Charles Mingus.  They feature low-energy light bulbs.  The pendant lamps come in two sizes and in six shades of light colors including white, nearly black, very grey, pale moss, light celadon and dusty limestone.
