BMW and Italian car design firm Pininfarina have teamed up for the first time to produce the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé.

The BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé sports a long wheelbase, a stretched bonnet, and sports a V12 engine.  The exterior features the unmistakable BMW  double-kidney grille, flat road-focused headlights, and 21-inch wheels.  On the inside you’ll find fine Italian leather upholstery, plaid Italian wool headliner, and accents made of kauri wood.

There are no plans to mass produce the Gran Lusso Coupé.  However, it is expected that some elements from this project will be incorporated into future designs.

You scroll down going “awesome car” then you get to the grill that is a like a brick wall. Darn German safety standards.

Wow. I love the kauri wood in the interior, and how it blends with the tones of the leather. Very elegant and understated.

Love the nose, grill, sinister looking shark facia. It reminds me of a P-40 War Hawk “Flying Tigers” aircraft.
