Kentucky’s most expensive home on the market is listed at $4.5 million and comes with such amenities as a home theater and an indoor basketball court.

The English-style mansion located in Calvert City has six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms over 17,412 square feet of living space.

The “small town” location should not throw off potential buyers, according to listing agent Jim Lewis. “It’s centrally located,” Lewis said. “We get folks from Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, and even Chicago who come down here. It’s an outdoor recreation dream world. Fishing, hunting, boating, you name it. In this house, you’re about five minutes from the marina.”

There is an elevator in the mansion so you do not get tired from climbing stairs between the four floors.

Outside you’ll find a pool, carriage house, eight-car garage, and more. There are also specialized rooms like an exercise room and a craft room.

The home was built in 2001 and took three years to complete.
