Forcite Helmet Systems, an Australian company, has created a helmet that not only protects your head but allows you to take video, talk on the phone, track fitness, and alert emergency services.
An HD camera catches POV video. It has a built-in image stabilization system to help keep the video from being too shaky. The helmet also has OLED lights beside the camera if the lighting is not ideal.
The helmet also has Bluetooth connectivity so you can connect it to your phone to listen to music, make phone calls, or track your performance through an app.
Impact sensors in the helmet will also send alerts, including your GPS coordinates, to emergency services if serious impact is detected. This feature can also be manually activated.
Pricing details have yet to be released.
